No frills, it just counts steps and does it accurately. I love that I can clip it to my belt loop or put it in my pocket. I even clipped it to my bra strap when I didn't have a belt loop or pocket. You can also lace it up, but it's loose and a bit bulky, so I wouldn't recommend this design if that's how you plan to wear it. Resetting is easy, but not so easy that it can be accidentally reset, which was an issue with my last pedometer. From time to time it freezes for a few seconds but then catches up on the missed steps. Completely satisfied with this purchase.
