Review on 🔘 Cole Parmer 3 Way Barb Ball Valve by Julio Solano

This is a good valve system, but it's terribly overpriced. I was looking for something like this valve switch for my oxygen concentrator. I use oxygen 24/7. The problem was that I had to physically disconnect an oxygen line from the outlet of the concentrator and connect another oxygen line to use with my Bipap machine at night. I had to change again in the morning. Changing the oxygen tubing, while not a chore, was a nuisance. I came across this valve by accident while looking for an oxygen hose. I started reading some reviews and was surprised to find that I wasn't the only one using the valve to switch between oxygen lines. In this case, it is not clear why manufacturers of oxygen tubing do not make such a valve. After I bought and received this I looked at the valves being sold for aquariums, I couldn't find one online that would work with my oxygen system but I'm almost willing to bet the local pet store has something I use could, and at a more reasonable price. There really isn't anything unique about this valve, it's made of hard plastic and looks solid, but again, this item isn't worth the price. I'm giving it three stars because of the price. If I break this item I will visit my local pet store. Damn! Walmart probably has an outlet in the pet department.
