These stools arrived as expected and were relatively easy to assemble. We have used glue in addition to the hardware supplied with the stools to keep them strong as we will be using them for our short term rental. The screw heads are built into the wooden pieces and require a wooden "cap" to close them. Plugs are included. We ordered two chairs. One set had "caps" painted to match the color of the chairs. Another set of "caps" was white! So we had to find the right paint job, paint the caps and then mount them. It hurt a little. But in the end it looks good - no one will notice that the ones we painted don't match exactly.
