The cabinet door installation support clamp comes with no written instructions or brand markings of any kind. The lack of a brand begs the question of the commitment to the customer after the sale or commitment to being an ongoing concern. There was no packing material inside the box.The plastic used to make the clamp knob is cheap and hard, with sharp square edges, rather than a comfortable rounded ones. It hurts to tighten this knob. The clamping pad on the other end is also rigid plastic. It should have some give, to compress some, to better snug the device in place. It would likely cost a fraction of a dollar to substitute a better knob. The 8” long cabinet door support bar wobbles from side to side in the two vertical tracks. The device should contain some set screw or other mechanism to lock the bar in place so it will not move. The weight of the cabinet door will make the support dip down and the support will no longer be perpendicular to the vertical tracks. There is no measuring scale on the clamp body running up and down the tracks. This would help to set the device to the same distance for each door attached. The screw shaft which raises and lowers the support bar also wobbles. It should be firmly supported on both ends so as to prevent this. For some perspective consider that a budget set of kitchen cabinets cost thousands of dollars and in the long run you would likely wish you had bought something better. A quality set of kitchen cabinets made with high quality materials can easily cost in excess of $10,000. So a cabinet builder would be a fool to use a device that wouldn't support the door in a precise, reliable position on each cabinet. No customer would put up with doors hanging at different heights with respect to the cabinet bodies. The builder's reputation would be trashed and so would the business.I cannot recommend this item. It looked good in the picture, but isn’t worth your money. This is not a precision device. It is poorly designed and engineered.Note to the Reader: My reviews are written strictly from the perspective of helping potential customers make an informed decision as to whether they should invest their finite money and time in this product.
