Review on Ceiling Bracket Adjustable Mounting Brackets by Wyteboi Nallamothu

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product at a good price but with a problem or two

I used this item to suspend two Play 1 speakers from the ceiling to complete a Sonos surround sound system in a theatre. To do this, I installed two plugs on the ceiling and ordered two 12-inch power cords (only one was available, the second was in reserve). The beauty of the design is that I could hang the Play 1 speaker upside down or flip it over so you can't see the underside of the metal bracket, connector, etc. This way you will see a more attractive top of the speaker. One more note about this setup. The Play 1 speakers, like most speakers, are HEAVY, especially when hung from an extension cord. I didn't feel comfortable hanging them on the drywall alone, so we climbed into the crawl space and added a wooden cross brace to attach the bracket for complete comfort for the speaker, which isn't extended if it's only held by drywall becomes. How to hang it can be a little confusing at first, but spend some time "dry assembling" the mount to answer your pre-installation questions. Speakers on the pole and also hold c The right angle for speaker projection is made from cheap stuff and we slightly removed the crosshead on both brackets. One is peeled off with the speaker in the correct orientation and the other is peeled off before the Play 1 is properly aligned. As there is no email address or support number on the box and instructions I will venture to Home Depot at some point and try to find a replacement. Stainless steel screw to replace the two factory screws. One speaker that's pointing down at an odd angle is the one I installed the 1 foot power cable to and stripped the screw. Overall mostly satisfied with the results, with this one exception.
