Review on πŸ”Œ SATA III Cable for Industrial Electrical Applications: Top Performance and Reliability by Joey Gilbert

Revainrating 3 out of 5

1 of 6 cables was defective

installed with these cables and my computer wouldn't boot. It sat on the Windows loading screen and left me with a blank screen at best after the Preparing Automatic Repair screen. I ended up disabling two backup drives and the system booted fine. I checked, each plugged back in and one started and the other didn't. I ended up replacing the cable with the 6th in the pack and the system booted up again. The BIOS recognized the drive, but due to a bad connection, Windows didn't know what to do with itself. Luckily I only use 5 drives and the 6th cable was extra for me. So far the rest of the cables work fine, they look nice and I know sometimes you just get a bad cable in a bunch so I'm not completely smashing the product. Just be aware that the cable can go bad at times, and allow yourself an hour of trouble and you'll probably be fine.
