The price of 1.68 including shipping was so low that I ordered two. I only needed one but for the price a replacement seems like a good idea. I really liked the shape and size of the micro SD card reader, which made it easy to plug in or remove from a USB hub. At first I just tested both readers and found that both work. I've started using it about 5 times a week to read a 2GB microSD card. After about 5 weeks it went wrong. The second reader also worked for about 5 weeks and then failed just like the first reader. Both card readers gave no indication that they were about to fail, worked great on the previous use and then failed on the next use. could not be switched on when plugged into the USB port, nor did the control LED of the USB hub light up when the reader was plugged in. No microSD card was corrupted and no data was lost due to reader error.hdm
