Review on 🎨 Mont Marte Premium Metallic Acrylic Paint Set - 36 Colors, 36ml Tubes - Ideal for Canvas, Card, Paper, and Wood Surfaces by Amanda Castillo

In the photos above I have painted basically the same scene on black and white watercolor paper as metallics look very different on black paper than on white. I have also provided color swatches. The ink is easy to work with and spreads easily across the paper. These are relatively small tubes of paint so I decided to dip a fine tipped brush (Princeton Aqua Elite 8 Long Round) directly into the tubes and if I wanted to dilute the paint I added water as it was being painted. Paper. It worked well. I felt like putting a little on my plate would be wasting it as I would definitely squeeze out more than I needed. Basically, I treated these acrylics the same way I treated watercolors, and they responded well. Even though there are 36 colors, I felt like it was missing some colors that I would have liked. Scarlet. Real orange. And brown, like burnt umber. The blue was absolutely amazing and it was perfect for the seascapes and sky. Colors blend appropriately on paper. With the right lighting, these metallics shimmer and shine and look absolutely beautiful. While I have not yet attempted to paint on canvas with these paints, I wholeheartedly recommend using them as I have for this review. If you want to press paint onto a palette I would suggest buying a Masterson Sta-Wet Painters palette. With this palette, your colors will last for months without drying out or becoming unusable.
