These match my 6" gutters perfectly. I was a little wary of the factory finishes but once in place you won't be able to see them unless you fly over that House.My gutters are relatively new and the concealed hangers used to install them are more or less flush with the top of the gutters so I haven't had any gap issues when installing over them.These guard rails are wide enough to fit the inside edge to hold in place under the drip edge and the outside edge snaps onto the outside edge of the gutter fairly tightly.I was happy to see that the pieces are notched so that each section overlaps the previous one a bit.I ended up putting one in Screw in at the very back end of each gutter, three at the front of each gutter guard section and another in the "hump" area where the two meet en sections overlap. The last screw really held the pieces together and kept everything nice, flat and seamless. I first did the short g part entirely without that last screw, and when I started I was so impressed that I went back and "retrofitted" that section. Really, the worst part of the setup was fiddling with the ladder. In some places I'm almost 3 stories up and have very wide soffits so I had to use a ladder stop device so I could lean the stop against the clapboards on the roof (giving me a gap between the ladder and the gutters). opposed to placing the ladder against the gutters themselves (which would make it almost impossible for the guards to get in). If you've ever used an attachment, you know that moving a fully extended ladder can be even more "fun" than usual. I consoled myself with the thought that I wouldn't crawl out here twice a year and clean out the ditches again! I live in the mid-Atlantic region and we've had quite a few gully storms this year. The gutter guards do not appear to have had a negative impact on the gutter's ability to handle these downpours. Overall I am very happy with these gutter guards and would recommend them without hesitation.
