Works as advertised

07/20/2020 Update: As a result I bought another card. It doesn't have enough power to connect multiple external drives to it. My personal experience: When I connected multiple external hard drives, they were randomly connected and disconnected and also disconnected while transferring files. This card does not have enough power to power multiple drives. I ended up buying another card with an extra power connector that plugs into the SATA power cable and it works fine. This card is only suitable for connecting 1 or 2 flash drives, but if you want to connect multiple external hard drives, use a different card. The replacement I bought is only $5 more than this one and has 7 USB 3.0 ports. I needed extra USB 3.0 ports because I'm an avid flash drive user and my mobo's 5 USB 3.0 ports weren't enough. Installing on Windows 10 was easy, I didn't need to install any drivers and Windows recognized it correctly and automatically installed the correct drivers. I haven't put it through an ordeal yet, but from the two times I've used it in the last 24 hours, the speed has been on par with my phone's USB 3.0 ports. Overall I'm happy, I hope it works for many more years, but according to some reviewers it went out of service within a couple of weeks/months, so I'll definitely update this if I have the same issue. Oh and another plus is that no power connection is required as I still don't know how to hook it up with the way my setup is set up.
