Review on 📱 OtterBox DEFENDER SERIES Case for iPhone 8 PLUS & iPhone 7 PLUS (ONLY) - Black - Frustration-Free Packaging by Randy Holt

I recently bought an iPhone 7+. I've been struggling with my old OtterBox Defender from my iPhone 6+ for a couple of weeks which yes fits and works but isn't a tight fit and it doesn't fit the camera properly and partially blocks the LED flash. So I gritted my teeth and bought this new Defender for 7+. At first I was skeptical about this seller as I suspected this case was fake and the price was much lower than others. After receiving it and comparing it to my Defender 6+, I found this to be a genuine OtterBox. I suspect the reason for the lower price is that this case doesn't come in pretty retail packaging - it comes in a plain brown box and the case itself just dangles inside with instructions. But if it saved me $20, then I'm all for it! But the most pleasant surprise for me was how much better this 7+ case is than the previous 6+ case. Firstly, the review I read here said the screen protector hasn't improved and that is absolutely WRONG! The screen protector is the only thing I didn't like about the 6+ case as it was "flexible" and had a small gap between it and the screen. With this new case, the screen protector fits the screen snugly and snugly, making button presses more responsive. And there's not even a hint of the "rainbow" you read about other cases with built-in protectors. In general, the cell phone sits tighter and tighter in this case. The case also now has a rough finish on the edges, making it more durable. And while the quality of the belt clip hasn't changed, the 7+ slides in and out of the belt clip more easily than the 6+ with case. Speaking of the clip, it works great. I use public transport daily, and with another brand case/clip I had a few years ago, the phone was constantly being pulled from my belt if it caught even the slightest bit on something, often without my knowledge. But not the OtterBox clamp. This is a very strong clip and you are more likely to drop your pants if the phone gets stuck than if the clip detaches from your belt. I am very satisfied - lower price, better size, same great belt clip. Five stars!
