Review on Diamond Grinding Deburring Dressing Resistance by Daniel Warren

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Roughly done, but it works.

So first add the missing information in the product description. This tool is made by another random Chinese company whose name seems to be a random combination of letters. It's definitely not a Chinese word. Your lathes seem to be well rated on these fake review sites. The head of the instrument is made of a reddish-brown material (not gray as pictured), about 1 3/16" long, 1/2" wide, and 1/4" thick. , somehow attached to a slightly thicker piece of what appears to be mild steel attached that is tapped (flat) to accept a 4" long x 3/8" wide handle. The reddish-brown material is a mystery; It's highly magnetic, but it's soft enough not to clog grinding wheels. It has sharp edges on top as if it was cast in an open top mold and hardened. But it has small diamond chips scattered around it that make the cut. At least that's how it works on my brother's Dremel sharpening stones. One was almost complete plugged with aluminum and by gently pushing this tool against the stone while it was spinning the aluminum was removed quickly This has made the stone a little smaller but that is to be expected on a stone this small but the handle is short and sc hmm, I can't reach all four fingers without putting my fingers close to my head, which I don't want to do, especially when cleaning tabletop whetstones. The handle is knurled in two parts, but the knurling is shallow and not very sharp. It doesn't improve your grip much. The threaded portion that screws into the head is only 1/8" long. And the head showed some wear, even on these small whetstones. We rolled the stone over the dresser to even out the wear. However, there was some Wear is required to reveal the diamonds embedded in the head material, however it is not known how long this tool will last And the reddish brown material in the head with the diamond bits can be easily glued to the mild steel base Will the glue come loose if the head is on, who knows? But it's cheap and maybe more durable than those rim fasteners, which are just diamond chips brazed onto a square steel tube.
