I always thought buying sheets was a simple process with sizes being the same for different brands. I always thought so too. I measured my mattress and the result is a California King. The sizes fit. So this is exactly the size of bedding I was looking for. They caught my attention so I ordered them California King Size. Well, the blade size is much larger than the California King. With no noticeable "on this way up" to buy, it's mostly square. When unfolded over the mattress there is considerable headroom before donning. If it's attached to a mattress, it won't teach. There's a nice extra 8 inches around. I like my sheets to be tight, almost flat, like boot camp. This sheet is not smoothed. It feels like I'm sleeping in an unmade bed. and the patterns are driving my cats crazy but the way the oversized sheet just takes away too many positives.
