This is a great pair of marine speakers for great value. Baskets appear to be fairly sturdy plastic so rusting is not an option. The grate is an integral part of the plastic, making installation quick and easy. The connections on the speaker, both positive and negative, are standard spade connectors, making it easy to select connections and not have to "run around looking for tiny female connectors". The sound quality is good for the price they come at. Of course there are headphones with better sound but obviously you bought something cheaper because you know they go to your boat where you are always happy so the sound quality,
