Got this product for my wife on the "direct" scheme. She uses similar equipment and her old foot file looked like it needed to be replaced. The old foot file is plastic and sandpaper like black stuff on both sides and has served well. Nice to look at as it has a wooden handle but the serving material takes some getting used to. It is nice that the material wraps around the entire device. One side is for fine sanding and the other for coarse sanding. With her old file, she could see what was left of the file, but not this one. So it's hard to say if it did its job, especially if you use it a lot. She uses it in the shower.
