I bought this hard drive for my PS4 because I used up most of the 500GB and it worked great. All I had to do was take it out of the box, connect the two devices with the USB cable that came with it, PS4 recognized and formatted the hard drive, maybe ticked a box or two in settings and you were done. . It's been about a month now and it's working great. I'll try to remember to update this review in a year so everyone knows how it held up. Update #1 5 months later: works great. I had no problems with that. Update #2 14 months later: Still working great, great purchase
