Fan decent, clip useless

I am using (or intending to use) two of these fans on my aerogarden 24xl farm. Unfortunately, the clips don't hold the frame of the device in place, making them pretty much useless to me. I have one that stays and the other just falls off. I'm sure this works well if you're cropping something horizontal, but I wouldn't recommend it for something vertical unless there's enough texture for the clips to cut through.
