I bought this as a birthday gift for my daughter who was turning 21. Her birthstone is supposedly an amethyst for June, but this site listed it as being a moonstone, so I thought that as it was supposedly genuine, it would be different and pretty, as she doesn't have any moonstone jewelry yet. Well, when it came, it was so small that I had to use my glasses to see it properly, and the 'genuine' moonstone looked like pure colored glass. Very disappointed. The silver chain was also of very low quality, and I definitely anticipate it turning an unpleasant color after a month. The actual size of the pendant was about two times smaller than in the picture, which is unfortunate because my daughter favors larger pendant type jewelry with long chains. It is a good thing I got her more than one jewelry gift, as the others are just as beautiful as they are advertised to be.
