Review on πŸ”§ Refurbished Garmin Vivoactive Black: Enhanced Performance and Value by Zachary Ester

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Updated rating after 6 months.

Update from 20.07. Works without problems. The battery life is still great. Syncs seamlessly with my third new phone since purchase. I like it. There wasn't a single problem. I wear my Vivo every day and only use the running function for sports. GPS usually finds a signal within 10-20 seconds. There was a month where it wouldn't automatically pair to my phone via Bluetooth and I had to sync it manually. But now it does that automatically. I'm not sure why it was, but currently it's not a problem. I didn't think I would be interested in seeing lyrics on my watch but I have to admit I love it. In work situations, I can glance at my watch to see an incoming message, which is more appropriate than looking at my phone. Also, there have been instances where my ringtone and vibrate on my phone would be idle and the watch on my wrist would buzz. Notification of a call I didn't want to miss. As for other reviews that mention the dark screen? Yes. It's pretty dark. But as with any LCD screen, if you really do your best by tilting the watch just a few degrees, you'll find enough light to see the data. This or touch the button to activate the backlight. Overall I just love this watch. If he dies in a year or two I would strongly recommend buying another one at the price of rebuilding. If you run and need a watch with GPS then buy this. You will be more than happy.
