Updated rating after 6 months.

Update from 20.07. Works without problems. The battery life is still great. Syncs seamlessly with my third new phone since purchase. I like it. There wasn't a single problem. I wear my Vivo every day and only use the running function for sports. GPS usually finds a signal within 10-20 seconds. There was a month where it wouldn't automatically pair to my phone via Bluetooth and I had to sync it manually. But now it does that automatically. I'm not sure why it was, but currently it's not a…

Great product! in Running GPS Units

As a Moto 360 Smartwatch, I am very impressed. I still think standard smartwatches leave a lot to be desired and aren't particularly useful, but that's another story. I got it in the mail two days ago and its battery was at seventy five percent. Yesterday I rode my road bike twenty miles and ran four miles for a total of about two hours of use. This morning I drove to work as usual, another twenty miles in an hour or so. I also tracked two nights of sleep with it and used it from time to time…

Refurbished almost like new

I am very happy with my vivoactive. First I received a refurbished watch and it works just as well as if it were new out of the box. So any complaints I have about the watch also apply to the full version. I have very small wrists so I was concerned that the watch was too bulky. I've had this problem with GPS watches in the past. But the vivoactive is actually very light and doesn't feel too big on my wrist. The watch works exactly as advertised... It's basically a GPS watch with some…

I love electronics

in the background I am in my early 60s, swim 45 minutes a day and walk 3-5 miles a day. Being old school, I relied on my old Casio G Shock to measure walking speed, and with my finger-mounted thumb, I pressed a manual lap counter to count my swim laps Computer gizmos...gosh, for years I thought the app Store would be in the big mall next to us. I ordered a refurbished model through Amazon (I've done it with other things and have always been satisfied). I spent some of the money saved to get a 3

UPDATED AGAIN - Lost another star: a moment of silence as this overhaul has lasted less than a year. This is the least reliable refurbished product I have ever owned. In fact, it only lasted 48 hours between charges, but everything else worked flawlessly. then 2 weeks ago the aftermarket strap I got for it (I'm allergic to silicone) ripped when I was making my bed and when I went to get the watch off the charger it was black when it wasn't was connected and only said Garmin when connected but…

UPDATED 08/29/2016 Refurbished item arrived in good condition. Not 100% perfect new as there is very little wear on the plastic case but it comes with terrain. The glass wasn't scratched. And the clock looked good - I've worn it down more in a week doing some DIY work. This watch does what I wanted: it tracks distance, pace, elevation, and cadence, and gives me notifications from my phone. And he does it all well. In the week I've been wearing it, I've run 5km and the distance was accurate to…

Cannot switch music or check time with activity tracking

My biggest issue with this watch is that you can't return to the main screen when tracking a workout, which means I can't see what time it is and I can't change my music. This seems like a huge problem, almost so big that I think either I'm missing something or my watch isn't working properly. My second biggest criticism of this watch is that I don't count steps when pushing a stroller. I regularly use a wheelchair and the watch does not recognize that I am moving when my hand is on the…

Never Lose a Mile: GPS, Finders & Accessories

I use this watch for about 6 months for indoor and outdoor walking, indoor and outdoor running, cycling, hiking and sleep tracking. I wear it to shower and sleep, activities and work and I find it looks pretty enough to wear in a semi-formal style. It's so thin and light that I hardly notice it even when running long distances. The display works without a backlight, although there is a light button and it's very clear in daylight. Indoor visibility is a little less noticeable, but the standard…
