Bought this for our lake house, which has a gazillion mosquitoes and bugs that are attracted to the house lights and attach themselves to the glass doors when the sun goes down. Strong wind and definitely keeps the pesky critters out. In order to have it automatically switch on when the door is opened you will need to have a licensed electrician install it, which cost me $340 for the installation!. You have the option to just plug it in and turn the air on to run continuously but it is so loud you have to scream to talk. It keeps bugs out of the house with all the traffic in and out.and that makes me VERY happy.
