Speed โโis normal but overall impressed.
I bought this to see if it is compatible with PS5 which it is. There is plenty of space to install PS4 games. The write speed to HDD could have been better and I had to reinstall the game when transferring from PS5 to HDD, but there is an option to set PS4 to HDD by default. Everything is fine when playing from the hard drive. Speed aside, it comes pre-formatted and still has plenty of storage (about 7.35TB I think) and the quiet operation makes it a worthwhile buy if you're looking for an external drive.
