So So Quality-pick something else

This bike is very cute. It was easy to assemble. It is lightweight. My daughter loves it. Those are the only pros.QUALITY is lacking. Once assembled we immediately noticed that the bearings in the front of the bike where the handle bars turn the wheel and which came pre-assembled are rubbing and grinding so badly there is metal dust coming out of the joint. Also, the brakes were so poorly pre-assembled that they were hitting the spokes, not the tire rim. My husband fixed this but then the part attaching the brake lever on the handlebars is plastic and has already cracked completely and was also pre-assembled. So the hand brakes just free float on the handlebar and are useless. We've had the bike for 6 days only. We took the brakes off completely because they are useless. Of course we could have returned it when we heard the joint grinding but who is going to rip it from their 5 year olds hands, disassemble it and ship it back? Not me. It will last as long as it lasts and we will never purchase this brand again. Another thing, my daughter says the seat hurts her butt everytime she rides it, and the seat is pretty narrow.

Pros
  • A fun and enjoyable way to explore the outdoors!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for children who prefer a faster-paced ride
