I live in a tiny New York apartment that was originally a sailor's barracks and still has all the original parts. everything, so there is no kitchen. However, I still cook and wash in the bathroom. I only mention this to explain the sponges in my bathroom photos that I attach and why I need a bidet adapter whose aerator I can remove and replace with a shower head. My goal was a bidet, but I'm a renter so I couldn't change the plumbing here (the plumber installed a fancy bidet on my brother's). Also, my toilet doesn't have a cistern, so the water has to come from the sink, which luckily is right next to the toilet. Since I also wash dishes in the bathroom (see point 1), I had to replace the aerator switch valve with the shower head. Most kits come with non-interchangeable aerators, so I chose to purchase the bidet parts separately. All I needed was a bypass valve, hose, spray gun and a hook to hang the sprayer. I already had a hose which I salvaged when the shower head broke. Once I started reading shifter valve reviews, I realized the importance of having an all-metal hose. The cheap plastic parts that usually come with the kits can explode causing flooding and personal injury. If I flooded my apartment by installing a bidet, I would definitely move out of an apartment with a stable rent. The Mingor rocker valve met all my requirements. I don't have X-ray vision to look inside, but they claim it's solid metal and has the weight of solid metal. The packaging speaks of a company that takes pride in its products. It comes with tape, all sorts of adapters you might need and a cap to put on the outlet when the hose is removed. When I emailed the company with a question, they responded immediately. This is a good product from a good company.
