UPDATE: Just bought another of these caulk guns. I still have the first one and it works well after almost two years of daily use. Just needed a fresh backup. I've shot at least 450-500 tubes of caulk through this thing and it still works like magic. I bought this gun about 5 months ago and it is great quality. I use it several times a week with different sealants and adhesives. As soon as you stop pulling the trigger, the flow stops. Not much liquid to speak of, except maybe some less viscous stuff like liquid nails etc (and basically just a little ball at the end of the tip) but when you pull the trigger it stops entirely.
