I bought a new shower head that used 2.5 GPM. My fiancé loves pressure but doesn't care about the water bill. So I needed a way to reduce the water pressure so she wouldn't get upset about my low flow shower. This device was perfect for my needs. As you can see in the video (yes, I know my shower isn't the cleanest), it can gradually decrease from full to off. The lever is a little tight, which is a good thing as it wouldn't be as easy to adjust otherwise. It works great - I haven't measured the new flow, but I'm willing to bet it can fall as much as you want. I've only worn it 2 days ago so can't comment on its durability but I guarantee if it fails I'll be back to update my review. Plumbing tape was required to connect it to the existing fixtures, but I was amazed it actually came in the kit! You can see my lazy dressing work in the video. I also like that it's metal instead of cheap plastic. The valve adjuster is plastic internally, but I don't see that as a major issue as long as the entire mechanism remains rigid.
