The ideal solution. for shower valves

Single lever shower valves only regulate the temp. They do not control the flow. General. I wasn't aware of this when I remodeled my bathroom 5 years ago. I was frustrated with the extremely low flow rate but didn't know what to do to fix it. The Kohler hand held shower head should be 2.5 GPM. I finally tested it last week. A pathetic 1.5 gallons per minute! No wonder my shower took so long! I removed the serrated metal ring and flow restrictor cartridge from the shower handle. Got 2.5 GPM…

Save water - and stay warm longer!

Just what I never needed. I like to take a long shower (yes, I know) or shave in it and unfortunately the hot water doesn't last forever. Also, the water regulator in my shower SUCKS, if you move it a little you will scald or freeze. So once I get it to the right temperature it STAYS there which means I can't easily adjust the pressure. Enter this little gadget. I DO NOT NEED ultra high pressure water for anything other than rinsing - otherwise a nice gentle jet of hot water is welcome. I reach

Did the job I wanted

I bought this once a few months ago to control the water flow in the shower I use and it worked as expected and was very easy to install. Fast forward a few months and I had an annoying leak in the shower of the other house I live in at least half the time. The leak got worse and the noise was driving me crazy. However, I had a hard time paying a plumber close to $100 to come out and fix a tiny leak. I didn't want to try it myself because the faucets are very old and I might not be able to…

The perfect solution for my Oxygenics RV shower head!

We recently installed an Oxygenics shower head in our RV which came with a cheap plastic push button shut off valve. This valve didn't shut off the water completely, so we kept dodging some really annoying drops of freezing water off our heads. I switched to this check valve and the problem is solved! Couldn't be happier! Let me answer a few questions I had about this - I hope this helps you decide: - It blocks the flow of water completely. - It screws onto your existing hose and head (at least

Works great, even comes with plumber's tape.

I bought a new shower head that used 2.5 GPM. My fiancé loves pressure but doesn't care about the water bill. So I needed a way to reduce the water pressure so she wouldn't get upset about my low flow shower. This device was perfect for my needs. As you can see in the video (yes, I know my shower isn't the cleanest), it can gradually decrease from full to off. The lever is a little tight, which is a good thing as it wouldn't be as easy to adjust otherwise. It works great - I haven't measured…

Ideal flow rate for shower water flow control valves

I would like to have a flow rate higher than acceptable by using a reasonable (water saving) water flow to rinse my hair and body. I have showerheads that have been stripped of water restrictors, but I feel guilty about the excess and stingy with hot water usage. This check valve is perfect for us. I can just leave it on to save water by restricting the flow. With a simple, gentle movement of the spool valve, I can get the ideal flow rate for flushing and then switch the spool back to economy…

Useful device, but leaks and can cause unwanted temperature changes.

Easily attaches between your existing shower rail and head (assuming your pipe size and threads are typical/standard) and will definitely help save water. More than just a switch, it can also be used to proportionally reduce water flow, allowing you to open it fully for a jet flush, or partially close it for less pressure/flow, or fully close it to stop water flow entirely. The control knob moves smoothly and proportionally reduces water flow, but leaks a bit (just drips/spills) so you wouldn't
