Because flop is exactly what it did. It did not bounce. Either we have no idea how to use this thing, or we have a dud. My first disappointment was its size. It say 60mm, but I guess I did not pay attention to how small that would be. I was expecting something about the size of a small volley ball. This is the size of a small baseball. Secondly, the material is akin to a squishy ball, just like the many I already own, many purchase from the local dollar stores for one dollar. Thirdly, when we initially used it, we had 13 children in the pool, ages ranging from 4-13. They were hyped and ready to see this amazing ball in action. For the next half hour, each tried various maneuvers to get this thing to bounce. Eventually, the 13 year old was able to make it "skip" by throwing it like one would when skipping stones. She then tried the same thing with one of our cheaper balls, and you guessed it, it skipped in the same fashion. So, what am I missing here? What are we doing wrong?
