I bought these for my daughter who has a slight wrist sprain as the product description says it's good for sprains and strains is . She had so many problems with a normal bandage that it looked perfect. Unfortunately I was wrong. The thumb hole was too big and the stuff around it didn't lay flat, so no matter how tightly I wrapped it around her wrist it was in danger of slipping right off her thumb. He also cut the web between her thumb and hand, injuring her. The only way to keep the thumb stuff lying flat was to wrap a piece of the brace high up around her arm, which meant it wasn't long enough to reach her wrist where it should have for support meant to be. But it didn't matter much. for even when he completely encircled her wrist, there was no support. She was still able to fully flex and straighten her wrist. The stitching was tight, but the fabric itself was awkwardly knotted and could not support her unless it was wrapped so tightly that she would lose all flexibility in her hand. I tried and tried to get it to work, even just tried as a bandage, but to no avail. I can't even return them as my daughter was so delighted with them hoping she would feel better that she ripped the packaging open when they arrived.
