Review on OXO Good Grips Strainer Stopper by Anthoni Hayes

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well designed at Drains & Strainers

I agree with the other, it seems crazy that I should be so excited about a kitchen sink filter and possibly a sign of aging (although I've crossed that Rubicon already). a 5 star knee brace rating), but it's the little things you deal with every day that you don't notice until they cause more trouble than they're worth. That was my old sieve. It was a cheap all-metal thing and it filtered food really well. But it didn't sit flush with the surface of the sink, so I had to keep picking up things that slipped in there and trying to get them in the right colander. Years later I decided I'd had enough and looked for something with an o-ring or some sort of gasket. It was literally the only one I could find and after a week I was very happy with it. The seal works as it should, and the minimum amount of dirt gets under it. I like the handle in the middle (to open and close it if you need a cork) that doubles as a handle for lifting. I like the silicone cup that can be turned inside out for complete emptying. It doesn't fit as much as my old one (minus one star, it actually fills up annoyingly often) but I'm happy to trade it in so as not to waste another second of my life directing missed food to where it's supposed to be. be.
