At first I liked the design of the key as it made it easier to access the drain plug. However, the material can be thicker to cover more of the clevis surface. The key slips easily and is difficult to hold on the socket head. I replaced my existing drain plug with the new one that came with the key. Yesterday a new plug got a thin crack in the head and water ran out of the tank under pressure for an unknown amount of time. I had to drain the hot water tank and luckily I saved my old one to replace. The quality of the material is questionable. I think I'll go to the RV store to get a replacement drain plug that's a little thicker.
