Purchased to remove the drive axle on my 2008 Nissan Rouge AWD. I live in New York and the salt used on the roads in winter causes the main axle bearing to get stuck in the main rotor mount. I've been hitting the CV axis with it for a long time, but it hasn't moved. I ended up removing the bracket and putting the whole thing in a hydraulic press. I was worried about applying pressure as it took a lot of pressure and heat to move. He uttered no more than a few loud thumps as he struggled all the way. No slide hammer could pull it out. Definitely recommend this tool as it failed to get the axle out through no fault of its own and survived hit after hit without breaking or snapping the chains. I think if you are dealing with a sticking axle due to a sticking circlip on the studs in the gearbox or due to main bearing corrosion (probably not to my extent) this will work perfectly.
