Again, DO NOT use this product to seal a cylinder head gasket. Read reviews, view photos. This will clog your radiator, thermostat, heater core and possibly even your block! I had to fix it quickly as my leak was the smallest imaginable. In fact there was a leak for 5 years and the amount it leaked. Let me change that word. Use the word "wet the place" so it wasn't a real leak. Followed the instructions AND bypassed my heater core (thank goodness) and went through with the procedure. As the engine warmed up, the product began to crystallize and form lumps (as it should). I could actually see it sticking together in the radiator through the cap as it happened. huge big blue lumps. In short, the car overheated while idling, I had to remove the radiator, try to flush it, things like the picture came out, I removed the thermostat. He too was beaten. And I had to put the whole car back together only to find that my radiator was now about 50% less efficient because I couldn't clean all the tubes in it. Now I had to buy a new radiator, install it and it cost me hundreds. I'll update this review when I know what the manufacturer says and if they at least honor their product's warranty, even though this simple job has now cost me close to $1,000. Was it just to spend the money on a proper head gasket? See, we all know that using this product is because you can't afford a real repair. Or you plan to seal the system and then sell your car to an unsuspecting buyer. It will clog your system. I can't answer if this will plug the leak since it's all broken now, but I do know it's plugging your radiator and system. Using this method will absolutely cost you more money and time in the long run. And when I mean long, I mean a week later. I've been in the automotive industry since 1985. I repair cars, assemble, diagnose, etc. These products didn't work then and they don't work now. See, it's simple logic. The product is designed to stick together and plug a hole when it gets hot. Look at your radiator, look at your heating core. they are all just tiny tubes that transport water from one side to the other. Logic dictates that if this product gets into those pipes and the thermostatic valve, it will stick together and clog those pipes as if they were holes. Pretty easy, right? The product sticks and sticks together. We use a whole bottle, what do you think happens to the material? where are you going Look at the photo and it will answer your question. Please take my advice, either do a complete overhaul or buy another car.
