Tried 2 washes with this system. For the first wash I used my own hose as the water source as the hose that came with it wasn't long enough. I have also used the system to prewash, soap and rinse my car. I tested the water quality several times with the included TDS meter and got readings between 0 and 12ppm. At these values, I was led to believe that spots would not appear. I let the car air dry and the stains appeared. After some more research, I found that when using my own hose as the water source, water could flow through the polymer filter at over 2 gallons per minute. At this speed, the resin may not be able to filter out all particles. So I did another flush using the flush-only system. The results were better, about 90% of the spots disappeared, but not completely. My car is black, so if you have a different color car these spots may not be visible. I will return this item.
