This is a great method for testing current in household appliances (measuring the current in amperes). The device I bought works perfectly and the tested cables are labeled correctly. However, the product photo that accompanies the product description is a bit odd. The "L" or "Line" side and the "N" or "Neutral" side are marked as wrong side. Also, the photo shows that the splitter is designed for MAX. 250V / 15A (which it is) and underneath it says it's rated at 600V CAT III. CAT III/600V rating = 6000V test voltage into 2 ohms. However, it doesn't matter. The splitter for sale corresponds to the text description. I have included a photo of my purchased splitter and a photo that confirms my view of the labeling. In a word, I am delighted with this device!
