I bought this hat for my nephew's birthday and after four months of daily wear and multiple washes I'm happy to say it's a fantastic product. His head circumference was the max for his age so I figured out the size and the circumference on the back suits him perfectly. In this picture the hat is soaked as he likes to dip his head under the rainy part of the groundwater to see the water beading off his hat. As you can see, the edges don't dangle at all! The safety catch on the side means he can still get it off his head if he's persistent enough, but he usually just chews the ends and doesn't pull on them. The only problem we've had so far is carrying it in a stroller, if it rubs against the seat it slides forward on its head and covers its eyes, so I just use an umbrella and hang it up when we're at the playground are. . Bonus points for fun prints, because who doesn't love dinosaurs?!
