First of all this tester works very well; better than i expected. It is great for testing continuity, but can also be used to find shorts in a circuit. It's great for troubleshooting and is useful when creating wire harnesses or adding to existing circuitry. I really like the pointed tip that can pierce through wire coating or reverse probe the connector if needed. Second, the quality is better than expected. The wire cable and alligator clip are durable, and the transparent handle is beautiful and thick. It even has a good strain relief spring on the back end where the cable exits the handle. It reminds me of tools made 50 years ago when companies expected their products to last for decades. If it was from China, I would be very surprised!
