The Wireless Setup Wizard is corrupt and does not work. The Temporarily use USB cable (recommended) option does not recognize the printer and instead disables Bluetooth input devices. The exact same connection works for printing and setting up the device through the printer driver. I was using a Mac with OS 10.13.6 and the version of the Assistant as of January 25, 2019. The System Preferences Printers & Scanners utility allows you to use the backdoor over a USB connection to configure the device. None of the materials that came with the printer say "login" is "initpass". Once you find the wireless setup sections, there are a few other issues. In the "Wireless Network (Setup Wizard)" section, you can't enter your SSID unless you're broadcasting your own, you can't use this tool at all. Ironically, Wireless (Personal) is the way to set this up for a managed wireless network. Although advertised as supporting 802.11n networks, it **does not** support 5GHz. Very disappointing. Also, it only supports "passphrase" for WPA2 pre-shared keys, which are limited to 63 characters. The problem is that the WLAN standard supports 64 hexadecimal digits. Every other device on my networks, including Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, has no problem with it. Again very disappointing. So it's coming back. I realize this is a cheap printer, but this is really basic functionality that should be the standard feature at this point in the technology lifecycle.
