First of all I would like to say that I am satisfied with this product. Documentation is sufficient, filters work as expected. On the physical side, the filters are a good size and even fit my large flashes or flashes with a zoom adapter. The relatively long side ribs also allow you to position the strap closer or further away from the flash head. If I was only using this for a set of flashes I would probably trim them to better fit the width of the flash head as that way you could use accessories that fit directly onto the flash. Since I use them with a variety of flashes, I've kept them large and only used them with accessories that aren't flush mounted to my head (such as an umbrella or softbox). Manufacturing process). As with any film filter, they can be bent or scratched fairly easily so care must be taken as I'm sure rough use will render them unusable fairly quickly. Mounting straps seem to work well for me, although I suspect they might not be tight enough on a particularly small flash. You could theoretically use any elastic, but their thickness assures me they won't break, and the tabs for lifting the sides for inserting/removing filters come in handy. Instructions are minimal but sufficient, and the reference cards that come with the color correction filters provide useful information about the lighting situation to which they are applied. Color filters do not provide a detailed description, but list the colors. Between these two sources, I think it's easy to understand what filters are and how you're likely to use them. The filters themselves are also marked with their name and the amount of light loss, as well as (for color correction) an icon indicating the situation in which they are applied. The bag they come in is perfectly acceptable. This will definitely keep them together but I'm still a bit concerned that they might get damaged (stacked etc) and would have preferred a hard case. The included reference cards really make the bag stiffer, so it might be a good idea to leave them in (whatever your needs are). Overall they meet my expectations but this kit is for one flash only. I completed it with a color grading kit (which includes three ribbons and three filters for each color) and in between I have pretty much everything I need.
