A must-have tool for off-camera strobing!

These gel kits are an essential tool for the strobe/mini strobe user. The ability to add a little color here and there takes an already good or great image to the next level! The ability to fill mood adds to the endless possibilities of grading in post production etc. . These gels become more and more comfortable the more you use them. Gel lighting can be tricky at first, so experiment and try many different apps to find your own favorite colored light spot. Don't give up after the first or…

A very fun addition to my travel kit.

It is a pleasure to use and I would very much like to buy this product again. I've played with almost all of them within 2 days of purchase and if any gels wear out I know where to replace them. I recently took them on a trip abroad and the gels I used for an outdoor winter photoshoot worked great. They worked well for 5 more indoor shoots, both portrait and still photography. I love how light, strong and small this kit is, easily stowed in a snug Nikon camera bag. The elastic that presses the…

Excellent gel set for lighting and studio

I was looking for a starter kit for my Canon flashes (580 EX II and 2x 430 EX II). I bought one of these and will now probably get a color grading kit that has 3 gels of each color. These gels fit easily on any flash and are significantly larger than a flash head so no time is wasted aligning. The kit comes with an elastic strap that you can insert the tongues under, or you can use a Honl or LumiQuest speed strap or whatever you like. If you like, you can attach small square Velcro straps to…

These gels are great. Roguegrid can be finicky and a bit .

These gels are great. The Roguegrid can be tricky and a little fiddly to set up at times, but its use of gels is one area where it far outperforms some of its competitors. These are small square gels with tabs on the sides and an elastic band to slip over the flash head. you know what i'm talking about. You must have 3 free hands and a degree in Telekinesis to get them on your Blitz and work with them. They are not. They slip effortlessly into the net. I can stack multiple gels on top of each…

I love these gels! Endless creative possibilities.

I love these gels! This is my first time working with gel. Having a daughter who has been in tech theater for almost 10 years and having worked in theater for several years, I was already familiar with lighting gels and have always been fascinated by the endless creative possibilities that lighting gels offer. The first gels I used from the Rogue set were red and used a white background. Color intensity depends on where your flash is "pointed", how close or far your flash is to the background…

High quality gels perfect for every situation

I bought this product because I didn't want to put velcro on my expensive flash. The gels are already pre-cut to the perfect shape to attach to any flash with a standard elastic, and the perfect elastic is already included! At first I was disappointed because the elastic strap that came with it wasn't the same shape as the first one. I saw a product image here on Revain. The one in the picture has a few slits to make installing the gels easier. What I have is just a solid black rubber band with

Funny, colorful filter bag

First of all I would like to say that I am satisfied with this product. Documentation is sufficient, filters work as expected. On the physical side, the filters are a good size and even fit my large flashes or flashes with a zoom adapter. The relatively long side ribs also allow you to position the strap closer or further away from the flash head. If I was only using this for a set of flashes I would probably trim them to better fit the width of the flash head as that way you could use…
