"Static Dissipation" indicates a high but not infinite surface resistance. I measure this mat with infinite resistance in millimeters between measurement points (where I pinned the probes). ESD 4.1 test passed and failed with infinite ohms per square. Also, the resistance of the bracelet cord between the latch and the banana clip is infinite (should be practically zero). It's garbage. Anyone who hasn't rolled their gear on this mat should buy a lottery ticket. I would like to know *exactly* what mil hrs are. it"is passed". I can only call it fraudulent advertising. Others who say "it does what it's supposed to" haven't actually tested it and have no reason to say it does anything at all. Instead, I recommend this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O0Q1Z1I. /ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s01?I bought this first and then the product recommended above. He passed the test.
