My drive has been in my Mac Pro for three years without a single problem. I wanted to make an external drive out of it. A large transfer of 1.5 TB has started. The transfer took almost a day via USB 3 and failed towards the end. My data was gone and macOS could no longer read the drive. I know MacOS has been a disk destroyer in the past. Since Panther 10.3, MacOS has erased over 14 of my hard drives. So I can't tell if this is for Unix or OWC.
