This is exactly what I need to convert my Unicomp M PS/2 model to USB. I connected it to the monitor via a USB adapter. If this situation bothers you, now you know it will work. The only downside is that the PS/2 ports are not very secure. Any pressure will pull them apart. I currently have the adapter on my desk with the rest of the cable hanging down. If I let the entire cable/adapter hang off the table, gravity rips them apart. This is the reason for deducting a star. Using tape to hold them together would probably solve the problem. Edit: After a few extra months of use, I had another problem. The adapter keeps losing signal and I can't print. This happens for a short time (5 seconds) and can be once a day, but can be annoying when you are busy with something important. So I'm deducting another star.
