Great plates but in plastic packaging which defeats the 'sustainable' purpose of the plates.

So I bought these for my wedding, trying to keep everything as eco friendly as possible. These are wonderful cymbals, durable, beautiful and made out of palm leaf, but I'm a bit let down by the fact that they are wrapped in plastic. I was hoping that my purchase would not contain plastic, but I was terribly wrong. I just wish that companies that are committed to sustainability would pack really eco-friendly and not take the easy route and use plastic shrink wrap. I think it's my fault for turning down Revain.

Pros
