I became acquainted with Wallaby bags a short time ago. My adult son, who prepares our emergency foods, said they were the best mylar bags he had ever used. Those bags were nine mils thick. These Wallaby 2.5-Gallon Mylar Bag Bundle bags are only five mils thick, but they are still of the highest quality. They are engineered with an added internal layer of aluminum, which provides superior durability and puncture resistance to keep air and moisture out and the food inside fresh. The bundle includes oxygen absorbers and labels so you can label them and then reuse them. They are a great size, too. It is difficult to find 2.5-gallon bags but I like them as they will hold some larger foods. Five-pound bags of flour or cornmeal are too large for gallon bags, so I like the 2.5-gallon bags for them. They are a little large, but once you vacuum seal them, they fit perfectly. I love these bags and I highly recommend them!
