If your faucet is leaking, use a large rubber washer and put tape on the threads of the adapter. Sold separately, I got the expensive one. Use a towel and tongs and tighten. Mine is working great, no leaks and I'm very happy to have my old machine working again. I also poured some water in the dishwasher, it sat for so long. The pump was dry. This seemed to help. I also noticed better water drainage from the new hose. This product safety is worth the time. Very satisfied. Much luck!
