We LOVE these bowls! I've been looking for great cereal/soup/chilli/salad bowls for ages and no luck. To be honest I was starting to sympathize with Goldilocks - every plate I bought was either too small or too big, too fragile or too heavy. as long as it! Make no mistake, these are large, durable bowls - you can put a full serving of food in them and leave plenty of room - and that's what my family needs. I wanted enough bowl space for one of my sons, who is mostly grown men but still has toddler coordination, to walk around with the bowl so he doesn't spill it over the edges - or go back to the pot for 57 servings. And they're durable, so I don't have to worry about them breaking if they're thrown in the sink too hard, or banging together in the dishwasher (because really, when was the last time you met a kid who did the put the dishwasher in? ). LOVE !tl;dr: If you need big, durable bowls, get these!
