When I received this probe it seemed so flimsy I was afraid of breaking it when I took it out of the box. The second thing I noticed was that it was bent. I had to straighten it out as best I could. I put it in the car and it fit perfectly. My driveway is on a slope so as soon as I was level I went to check the oil. The probe broke the first time it was used! I am absolutely amazed that Dorman is selling this product. Plugging in the dipstick tube can be great, but if you really want to check the oil level, you could be in trouble. My advice: find a dipstick from another company. On the plus side, Revain is a very, very good replacement for dipsticks. Give me free shipping for one day and refund my money before I send the dipstick back. Revain doesn't always have the lowest prices, but I have shopped with them many times and have always been happy with their customer service.
