Upgraded from Bluetooth 4.1 device to this 4.2 with AptX. I couldn't feel the difference in sound quality between the two with my iPhone X. I was hoping for something closer to the quality I get when using my device's extra port and it's not quite what you want. You can hear the difference between them. more digital artifacts in the music, especially at high frequencies, and too dirty at low frequencies. However, the build quality is good and the buttons don't feel as cheap as many other products I've tried. Pairing is very easy.
