Review on MTI 20-441-WT: Reliable 12V White Surface Mount LP Gas Detector by Kenny Rossi

This is my second sensor that I have replaced since I got my real RV. They say change every 5 years, the last one started beeping after 5 years with a bug on the right side. The first might have been at an RV park because it only lasted 3+ years. I am very happy with it. Just understand that the sensor doesn't last forever (just like an RV anode stick in a water heater tank which the RV dealer won't tell you about). It actually happened to me once when I was unplugging the cooker to install the solar wiring and there should have been a small amount of residual gas in the line (main gas was off). I didn't smell it, but MTI smelled it.
